Yangon, aka Rangoon, is a former capital of Myanmar (until March 2006), but it is still the largest city of Myanmar. Yangon has the largest number of colonial buildings in Southeast Asia today.

The city is relatively quiet comparing to other large cities in Southeast Asia, partly because of the prohibition of riding motorcycles and bicycles in the city.
