Trip to Myanmar.

We took a 4-day trip to Myanmar in early Spring 2011 to visit mostly the Buddhist temples in Yangon (Rangoon) and Bago areas.

The most famous pagoda is the Golden Pagoda Shwedogon which dominates the skyline of the Yangon city. Many Buddhist pagodas located in Bago city, about 50 miles (80 km) from Yangon. Myanmar aka Burma is a country in Southeast Asia with more than 80% population embracing Buddhism (mostly Theravada). There are many Buddhist temples in Myanmar that attract visitors to this country.
