Buerger's tree kangaroos are native to Papua New Guinea, and they dwell mainly in tropical rainforests. As its name implies, tree kangaroos love trees. Whether on the ground, or in the trees, tree kangaroos love leaves. They mainly feed on leaves, ferns, fruits, grasses and flowers. They have large stomachs and can eat a lot. At San Diego zoo, tree kangaroos are kept in the same place as koalas.
