Sceneries from Yên Minh to Đồng Văn, Hà Giang province, Vietnam. View pictures as slide show

There are 77 geological parks in the world recognized by UNESCO, among which is Đồng Văn Karst Plateau Geopark of Vietnam. Spreading across the four districts of Quản Bạ, Yên Minh, Đồng Văn and Mèo Vạc of Hà Giang province, Đồng Văn Karst Plateau Geopark is considered the character and strength for the tourism sector of the northern mountainous locality.

Đồng Văn is also home to 17 ethnic groups who use small caves and stone holes for cultivation and the area’s ragged rocks to build homes, fences, mills and benches. About 90% of families living here are ‘ethnic minority’ people - Hmong, Dao, Tay, Nung, Giay, and Bo Y. Most speak their own languages, which do not yet have written scripts.
