I visited Sapa, a mountainous resort in North Vietnam in June 2004. It's a little late for orchids, but I still found some beautiful Vietnamese orchids on display at "Ham Rong". These are a few orchids blooming late among thousand of orchids found in this area. Someday, I'll go back again to Sapa during Spring time to take pictures of all beautiful Vietnamese orchids. Not all orchids on display have name tags, therefore, I don't have scientific name for these orchids. If anyone know their name, please let me know. Two adenium flowers are in my garden in the US. They were grown from seeds. June is the month of lotus blooming in Vietnam, but I had a hard time finding lotus blooming in the ponds, because all flowers had been cut in the early morning for the market. White and pink lotus flowers were sold everywhere in Hanoi. The lotus picture in this page was taken from a cut flower.
