Lycoris, Peppermint Surprise Lily (Lycoris incarnata).
Lycoris are extensively cultivated as ornamental plants in Japan and China, and also in other warm temperate regions of the world. They are dormant in summer, bloom in fall, and then grow in autumn, winter, and spring. In the US, Lycoris incarnata is called Peppermint Licoris because it has red and white striped buds and flowers.
