Panama rose is a small tropical shrub to 5 ft with bright-pink , star-shaped flowers in clusters. Blooms November through early summer with scattered blooms the rest of the year. The Panama rose is grown in the southern US, the flowers attract butterflies with nectar when little else is in bloom. It has an added bonus for those who sit in the garden in the evening. The flowers are sweetly fragrant, especially after sunset.
