Pineapple lily (Eucomis sp.).

Pineapple lily is a fragrant South African native, which has tropical-looking, fleshy leaves with flower spikes that appear to be miniature pineapples at the top of each stem. Flower colors range from white to green, pink and purple. Pineapple lilies grow from bulbs. Pineapple lilies may be grown outdoors year round to Zone 7. They grow much better when left in the same spot for several years.
