Tigridia, Tiger flower (Tigridia sp.).
There are about thirty five species in the Tigridia family growing in the Western Hemisphere, from Mexico to Chile. It is not hardy generally, requiring similar treatment as Gladiolus. Annual lifting, storing, and spring planting are needed, and the bulbs are better freed from the bulblets of the previous season.
