Tropical Hibiscus Flowers

Hibiscus are tropical plants that can't tolerate freezes. However, for those of you who live in areas with just a few really cold nights (below 32F), it may be possible to keep your hibiscus in the ground year round if the plants are covered during the coldest nights. In cold areas (USDA zone 4-9), you can grown Hardy Hibiscus.
