Tropical FlowersTropical plants are those species native to the tropics. Strictly speaking, the Tropics, seated in the equatorial regions of the world, are limited in latitude approximately 23.4° N latitude, and 23.4° S latitude. It is very hot and humid with temperatures always greater than 65°F and rain most of the year. Most of the tropical plants cannot grow in the temperate zones where the winter temperatures are freezing (below 32° F) for a long period.
